South Hadley Restores Library Funding to Minimum Certification Level

South Hadley public library gets $75,000 budget restoration plus $120,000 for capital projects. The Public Library Board of Trustees unanimously approved bills at their June 1 meeting. Chair Gillian Woldorf and Library Director Joseph Rodio reported that Town Meeting had restored $75,000 to the FY27 operating budget to meet the minimum state certification threshold.

The town also approved $120,000 for capital projects. Despite these allocations, some full-time staff hours reductions remain necessary.
