Library Board approves bills, hears updates on accessibility and state funding.

SOUTH HADLEY — The South Hadley Board of Library Trustees unanimously approved bills and received updates on accessibility and funding. Library Director Joe Rodio reported the arrival of a $10,000 Carnegie Foundation grant and noted that the FY27 state budget includes 2 percent increases for Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners lines. Jack Culp, Gaylord Trustee, announced that the Gaylord Media & Library Alliance has applied for a Massachusetts Cultural Council grant to support accessibility improvements, bolstered by a recent bequest.

Trustee Mitchell Resnick announced his resignation effective April 7, 2026.
