South Hadley Library Trustees reorganize with Gillian Woldorf as new chair. The board unanimously elected Jennifer Couturier Vice-Chair and Lanette Sweeney Clerk. Director Joe Rodio reported the board is seeking a $75,000 restoration to the FY27 budget to meet state municipal appropriation requirements, warning that library hours and service cuts will occur without approval from the Selectboard (voting May 5) and Appropriations Committee (May 6) ahead of Annual Town Meeting on May 13.
The Gaylord branch front door is being refinished, and a prototype story stroll sign has been installed for one-year environmental monitoring.
