South Hadley property transfers up in July, but few sale prices disclosed

South Hadley recorded 16 property deed transfers between July 10 and Aug. 8, per Hampshire County Registry of Deeds records, but only two listed a sale price. The disclosed range ran from $100,000 to $270,000, with a median of $185,000 based on those two transactions. The month's most notable recorded sale was 18 Lamb Street, which sold for $270,000 to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. Most of the period's deeds, including several bank, credit union, and intra-family trust transfers, did not disclose a price, so the overall market tone cannot be characterized beyond the limited price data available.
