Fifteen property deeds were recorded in South Hadley between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, with disclosed sale prices ranging from $35,000 to $300,000 and a median of $98,500; only eight of the 15 transactions disclosed a price. At least 10 of the 15 recorded deeds involved a bank, credit union or mortgage servicer as either seller or buyer, a pattern consistent with foreclosure and lender-owned property activity rather than conventional owner-to-buyer sales, limiting comparison to a typical residential sales month.
