Registrars set April 26 election with voting deadlines and options

SOUTH HADLEY — Board of Registrars readies April election with expanded voting options. Lucia Foley, April Bellafiore, and Town Clerk Sarah B. Gmeiner outlined three voting methods for the April 26 town election: early in-person voting at the Town Clerk's office, mail-in ballots with an 8 p.m. deadline on Election Day, and a secure drop box behind Town Hall.
Voter registration deadline is April 3, with vote-by-mail requests due April 7. Polls will open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and machine tapes with precinct results will be posted at Hadley High School when voting concludes.
