Registrars plan outreach ahead of spring Town Election
Board of Registrar of Voters · Meeting of January 28, 2026
SOUTH HADLEY — Registrars plan voter outreach for April Town Election. The Board of Registrars, composed of Lucia Foley, April Bellafiore, and Town Clerk Sarah B. Gmeiner, discussed whether to reduce in-person polling hours from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and promote early voting at the Town Clerk's Office to cut staffing costs.
Bellafiore is planning school information sessions for eighth and ninth graders turning 18. The board will publicize election information via Facebook and expects a two-page ballot for the November state election due to anticipated ballot questions.
