Historical Commission approves survey grant, launches planning work June 17

South Hadley Historical Commission approves FY 2025 survey grant for June 17 start. The fully executed contract is set to begin work on the survey and planning project, according to Chair Robert Judge and Vice-Chair Melissa Taylor. In other business, commissioners voted unanimously to make no comment on a proposed telecommunications facility installation at Mount Holyoke College, on a motion by Commissioner Robert Szklarz and seconded by Commissioner Ann-Marie Mahnken.

The commission also discussed supporting fundraising efforts by the Trustees of the Village Cemetery and is planning a fundraising event for the Gaylord Library.
