Historical Commission endorses Pioneer Valley Planning for survey grant work

SOUTH HADLEY — Historical Commission unanimously endorses Pioneer Valley Planning Commission to conduct survey and planning grant work. Chair Robert Judge reported the town received a single proposal for the work and moved for its endorsement, with commissioners voting unanimously to approve. The Commission also discussed recent communications with Mount Holyoke College officials and the state archaeologist, and decided to table discussion of a potential second South Hadley historical district until completion of the survey and planning grant work.
