Historical Commission endorses Pioneer Valley Planning grant consultant.

SOUTH HADLEY — Historical Commission unanimously endorses Pioneer Valley Planning consultant. Chair Robert Judge reported the town received one proposal to perform work under a survey and planning grant, and the Commission voted unanimously to back the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC). Judge said he would notify the Town Administrator of the vote.

In separate business, Commissioners Leo Lebonte, Melissa Taylor, and others discussed 250th anniversary Revolution events and communications with Mount Holyoke College and the State Historic Preservation Officer; the Commission tabled discussion of a potential second historical district pending completion of the grant consultant's work.
