Ferry Street Sale Leads South Hadley's Nine Summer Deeds
Nine property deeds were recorded in South Hadley between July 24 and Aug. 22, but only three listed a sale price. Prices ranged from $2,000 to $615,000, with a median of $297,500 among the recorded sales. The month's highest recorded transaction was a $615,000 sale at 34 Ferry St., sold by Marc D. and Marissa S. Rogers to Mary Richardson. Six of the nine deeds, including sales on Lamb, Dove Hill, Bridge, Karen, Alvord and Grant streets, carried no consideration amount recorded yet. With most prices not yet recorded, the available data does not support a clear read on overall market tone this period.
