South Hadley Conservation Commission orders peer review of contested wetland boundary. The Commission voted unanimously to hire an independent reviewer to assess a Bordering Vegetated Wetland boundary delineation at 775 New Ludlow Road submitted by EIS Wire and Cable Inc., with Conservation Administrator Rebekah Cornell raising concerns about terrain flatness and past disturbance and recommending the review; the public hearing will reconvene October 21. The town also received a $1.6 million MVP Action Grant for Titus Pond Restoration with $250,000 in secured matching funds.
