South Hadley Conservation Commission approves two utility certificates for SHELD. The Conservation Commission unanimously approved two Certificates of Compliance for South Hadley Electric Light Department utility projects on July 15, including upgrades to three utility distribution lines spanning the Connecticut River. Conservation Administrator Rebekah Cornell confirmed that tree removal was reduced from 25 to 13 trees during permitting, with SHELD making a $3,250 mitigation payment.
The Commission voted 6-0 on the 6 The Knolls underground service line project and 5-0 on the Titan's Pier Road project, with Chair April Doroski recused.
