Conservation Commission · Meeting of January 7, 2026

SOUTH HADLEY — Conservation Commission approves prior minutes, continues multifamily hearing. Chair April Doroski and five commissioners unanimously rescheduled a public hearing on SAI SHYAM, LLC's proposed seven-building, fourteen-unit development at 506 Granby Road to January 21 after the applicant requested time to submit revised materials and respond to peer review. The Commission also discussed but deferred action on an unpermitted remodeling project at 26 Cove Island Road, where members including Commissioner Tom Dennis flagged concerns about increased impervious surface and possible additional structures; Administrator Rebekah Cornell will review the Commission's feedback with the applicant before recommending next steps.
