SOUTH HADLEY — Conservation Commission approves Orchards Golf Club permit extension, defers SHELD hearing. Chair April Doroski's panel unanimously extended Order of Conditions #288-0463 for the golf course's routine operations, with a site visit planned for the coming weeks. Brandon Coe, Golf Club Superintendent, confirmed town water service and hand-removal protocols for stream debris.
The Commission then continued a public hearing on South Hadley Electric Light Department's proposed administration and operations center at 65 Old Lyman Road, scheduled for April 15 at 6:00 PM, after applicant representatives detailed stormwater and landscaping plans and acknowledged pending responses to MassDEP comments on the 100-plus tree removals.
