Conservation Commission reorganizes, authorizes administrator signature authority

Conservation Commission · Meeting of March 18, 2026

South Hadley Conservation Commission reorganizes under Chair April Doroski. Tom Dennis was unanimously appointed Vice-Chair replacing Terry Rosenfeld, who is relocating. The panel unanimously reauthorized Conservation Administrator Rebekah Cornell to sign Determinations and Orders on behalf of commissioners, a renewal required under pandemic-related virtual meeting protocols and necessitated by new appointees.

The Commission also unanimously continued a public hearing on an Abbreviated Notice of Resource Area Delineation filed by Marion Excavating Co. Inc. to April 15, pending peer review completion and a scheduled site visit.
