SOUTH HADLEY — CPV PHD Advisory Board approves prior minutes and updates regional health initiatives. The board, comprising Health Directors Sharon Hart of South Hadley, Tim Rivers of Holyoke, and Lisa Sanders of Chicopee, voted unanimously to adopt December minutes with a clarification on Seasonal Affective Disorder lighting at the Chicopee Library. Jenneke Reynolds reported CredibleMind mental health services have reached 1,511 users across 1,671 sessions; Holyoke Medical Center has expressed partnership interest.
Upcoming blood pressure clinics are scheduled in South Hadley on January 20 and Chicopee on February 9 and 10. Holyoke has applied for opioid harm reduction funding for vending machines and Narcan boxes, proposing waived permit fees for participating locations.
