South Hadley Council on Aging elects new officers and awards $9,600 peer mentor grant. The board unanimously elected Meg Clancy as Chair, Theresa Ominsky as Vice Chair, and Sheila Pennell as Secretary. An AARP Community Challenge Grant of $9,600 will fund training for 10 volunteers to provide on-site technology support through a peer mentor program.

Interim Director Andy Rogers reported that new Executive Director Jen Marion will begin in several weeks, and the SHINE counselor will return to provide weekly support at the center. The board also voted unanimously to change meeting times to 4:30 p.m. starting in September.
