Council on Aging approves March minutes, hears director recruitment update.

South Hadley Council on Aging unanimously approved prior minutes and heard an interim director recruitment update. With eight applicants through preliminary interviews but no finalist selected, Chairperson Marilyn Ishler and interim Senior Services Director Andy Rogers reported that additional American Rescue Plan Act funds have been located to double Tech Time hours and preserve the evening receptionist position from anticipated cuts. The Friends of the South Hadley Seniors group is planning a May 1 Elvis show at Buttery Brook and a May 8 hanging basket sale at the senior center, with a Volunteer Appreciation Event dinner set for April 23.
