Redevelopment Authority approves $1,500 façade renovation grant

Redevelopment Authority · Meeting of August 26, 2026

SOUTH HADLEY — Redevelopment Authority approves $1,500 façade grant to Wood&Weather Drum Shop. Chair Michelle Theroux and the five-member board voted unanimously to disburse funds from the DeToma Fund for building improvements. The authority also unanimously denied a redevelopment funding application from the 25 Maple Street property owner for failing to meet program guidelines, while accepting a pre-application from the 16 Main Street owner pending structural assessment.

Staff member Anne Capra continues outreach to additional property owners, and the board is considering a soft deadline to encourage timely submissions.
