South Hadley Recreation Commission schedules Buttery Brook Park grand opening for May 16. The commission approved prior minutes and bills payable by unanimous votes at its March 10 meeting. The day-long celebration from noon to 4 p.m. will feature vendors, food trucks, activities, and entertainment, with Aquanett performing at 5:30 p.m.
The Buttery Brook Park pickleball court renovation is on track for early June completion; fireworks on July 3 are fully funded through sponsorships and donations. Summer programs include expanded soccer and conditioning offerings, with strong enrollment in baseball, softball, and lacrosse.
