Master Plan Implementation Committee approves new leadership and schedules fall strategic meeting.

SOUTH HADLEY — The Master Plan Implementation Committee unanimously elected Nate Therien as Chair, Dan Hamel as Vice Chair, and Alex Wirth-Cauchon as Clerk for the coming year. The committee also voted unanimously to establish a planning subcommittee led by Therien to design a fall strategic meeting scheduled for late September or early October that will bring together representatives from across South Hadley's boards and committees to discuss alignment with the town's four master plan priorities and foster cross-committee collaboration. The full committee will meet again on June 11, July 9, and August 13.
Committee member Mary Jo Maydew resigned for health reasons.
