South Hadley Sale Price Data Sparse as Deeds Registry Discloses Just One Value
South Hadley recorded 10 property transfers in Hampshire County Registry of Deeds records between July 31 and Aug. 3, but only one listed a disclosed sale price: $546,400, recorded Aug. 3, with sellers Drew Nalewanski and Elizabeth Martins Nawelanski and buyers NewRez LLC and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. Because just one of the 10 records discloses a price, the period's price range and median are both $546,400, and no market-tone conclusion can be drawn from pricing alone. Three of the 10 filings list "Declaration of Homestead" as the grantee, a legal filing rather than a sale to a new owner, and a financial institution appears as grantor or grantee in six of the 10 records.
