South Hadley recorded 19 property transfers from Sept. 11 to Oct. 10, but only three carry a sale price so far: $554,900 for 35 Alvord St, $196,000 for a Falls Woods Estate condo unit on West Summit Street, and $100,000 for 42 Washington Ave, a median of $196,000. The other 16 deeds show price not yet available, a normal data lag rather than a withheld price. Eleven of the 19 transfers involve a bank or mortgage company as buyer or seller, and two others are family or trust transfers, suggesting much of this period's recorded activity was not conventional open-market resale.
