South Hadley Selectboard dissolves Budget Task Force and OKs February 25 Special Town Meeting warrant. Chair Jeff Cyr dissented on the motion to strike a $3 million budget scenario from Appendix A, which passed 4–1. The Budget Task Force, presenting its final report before dissolution, recommended a phased fiscal approach: a Proposition 2½ override for FY2027, fee adjustments and School Choice review in year one, medium-term emphasis on efficiency and PILOT programs, and long-term economic development and regional collaboration to stabilize the town's finances.
