South Hadley School Committee unanimously approves $2.35 million in February warrants and endorses $11 million property tax override for April election. Superintendent Jennifer Voyik reported a significant funding gap in FY27 planning and outlined early discussions on potential temporary Mosier Elementary closure and grade consolidation, while federal Title I funding faces a $30,000 decrease. The committee advanced the Elementary School Building Project to Design #5, proposing a new school on the current Mosier property for grades 1–5, after community feedback supported the model.
The district also secured a civics curriculum grant in partnership with Mosier's 8th grade Social Studies staff.
