South Hadley School Committee advances $11 million override to avert budget shortfall. The Budget Task Force will present final recommendations at a quad board meeting on February 10, with Superintendent Jennifer Voyik outlining multiple scenarios ranging from a $3 million deficit budget to a $9 million override. The committee unanimously approved a 2027 student travel trip to Spain, France, and Italy scheduled for June 20 to July 1, adopted the 2026-2027 school calendar with a first day of August 27, and reaffirmed policies ADDA and ADDA-R.
Voyik announced retirements of four long-serving staff members, including high school art teacher Maureen McNally.
