SOUTH HADLEY — The Planning Board unanimously approved special permits for a duplex at 144 East Street and a flag lot residential project at 134 Ferry Street. Chair Diane Supczak-Mulvaney and the board found both projects met Special Permit standards. The duplex, filed by Andrew Bazukin of Aya Custom Homes, includes stormwater and visual screening improvements.

The flag lot, filed by Leah Spring and Cory Whelihan of LCR Builders, will create one additional home with special conditions including shed removal and Conservation Commission consultation. The board also approved two reports to Town Meeting on zoning amendments affecting College Street and agricultural uses.
