Conservation Commission approves wetlands project at 506 Granby Road.

SOUTH HADLEY — Conservation Commission approves Order of Conditions for 506 Granby Road multifamily development. Chair April Doroski and five commissioners unanimously authorized the project by SAI SHYAM, LLC, which proposes 14 residential units across seven buildings with associated parking and stormwater management in a Bordering Vegetated Wetlands buffer zone. Peer-review consultant Steve Lee of BETA Group confirmed the applicant's revisions satisfied outstanding comments and comply with Massachusetts Stormwater Management Standards.

The Commission also approved a waiver for work within the 50-foot Conservation Zone and mandated finalized plans incorporating conditions regarding stockpiling, culvert maintenance, and construction details before work commences.
