South Hadley Building Committee advances elementary school design with unanimous approvals. The Committee approved $40,000 in geotechnical borings and $100,000 in invoices as the design team refines Alternative 8 site plans, with a Preliminary Schematic Report due to the Massachusetts School Building Authority on June 25. Owner's Project Manager Skanska reported the district has received $381,000 in MSBA reimbursements to date, with only $739 in printing expenses deemed ineligible.
The MSBA Board is expected to consider the project in December 2026, with required local approval votes anticipated in winter and spring of 2027.
