Bike/Walk Committee approves January minutes, plans spring treks.

SOUTH HADLEY — The South Hadley Bike/Walk Committee approved prior minutes and confirmed spring and summer events. Chair Ruth Camuse reported completion of a town master plan draft for voting at the next meeting, while members finalized details on a March 14 Ledges trek, an April 4 vernal pool walk, and the May 16 Buttery Brook Park Grand Opening featuring bike safety instruction and a concert. Riley Kranz will meet with Human Services Director Andy Rogers to discuss cost, sponsorship, and fundraising for a proposed October 24 South Hadley 5K.
The committee will support four core master plan goals including trail map development and historic walks.
